Akhal Teke Golden Sand Farm is located in Myakka City, Florida. We are about 45 minutes south of Tampa and within a 30 minute drive to downtown Sarasota and Siesta Key.

Myakka National Park is a mile away and has beautiful wild Florida trails for horse back riding. dressage is our priority. Paikhas is training for beginner’s level. We currently are looking for a few riders to join our team and take all three Akhal Tekes to the highest possible level in dressage. We are looking only for serious riders who would like to accept the challenge of training and commitment to ride Akhal Tekes in dressage.

Absent, a striking black Akhal Teke stallion competed in three consecutive Olympic games for the Soviet Union - Rome (1960), Tokyo (1964) and Mexico City (1968). Absent has earned six medals under two different riders including individual gold in 1960 (with Sergey Filatov) with phenomenal score of 82.4 percent, an accomplishment which remains undefeated.
